It’s finally happening!!!
After two long years, we’re so excited to announce that we will be running our Mental Health and Wellness Fair on Sunday, March 24th, from 11 am to 4 pm at the beautiful new artist venue, The Niagara Falls Exchange! This much-anticipated event aims to promote mental well-being and provide valuable resources for the community.
The fair promises an enriching experience with a diverse array of activities, featuring over 20 health and wellness vendors and resources. Attendees can engage with live art demonstrations by esteemed local artists including Emily Andrews, Sarah Carter and Heather Fraser. and Em Groat. Live musical performances by Evan Rotella, Electric Wildlife, and Nicole Cerminara from JIN will further enhance the vibrant market atmosphere.
In addition to the vendors, the fair will offer face painting, a healthy cooking demonstration, a photo station hosted by Palmae Studios and interactive art corners. Create art with renowned Indigenous artist Leona Skye Grandmond! Participate in interactive community art projects with local artists Em Groat, Katherine Sunita and Ashley Marazzo.
The History Museum auditorium will also be running classes throughout the day, offering opportunities for self-discovery and relaxation. Attendees can participate in yoga and meditation classes, a gratitude journaling workshop facilitated by Tree of Stars, and a “Know Your Purpose” workshop presented by Yet Niagara. The auditorium will also host two hours of multiple keynote speakers, led by the humorous touch of Niagara comedian Levi Mann.
The Mental Health and Wellness Fair is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Invittco and Mainly Niagara, in collaboration with the Niagara Falls Mental Health Committee. This event is largely funded by a grant received from Niagara Falls Arts & Culture.
Swag bags available to the first 50 people through the door. Market, workshops and classes are all free. Our goal is to bring our community together to inspire conversation around the important subject of mental health.
